Responsible AI Policy
Last updated August 19, 2026
This explains, in plain language, how Admito uses AI responsibly and what you can expect.
1. Our AI principles
- Guidance, not guarantees — AI helps you decide; it never guarantees outcomes.
- Human agency — AI suggests; you decide. You are always in control.
- Explainability — recommendations come with reasons, factors, and confidence.
- Privacy — AI uses the minimum necessary information and never sells it.
- Fairness — we test for and work to reduce bias.
2. What our AI does
It provides university and scholarship matching, admissions-readiness insights, financial-planning estimates, essay and resume assistance, and coaching — all as informational guidance.
3. What our AI does not do
Admito's AI does not provide legal, immigration, financial, tax, or admissions advice, and does not guarantee admissions, scholarships, or aid. See our Disclaimer.
4. Automated decisions and your rights
Some features, such as readiness scoring and matching, are automated. They are advisory, not determinative, and we do not use them to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. Where the law gives you the right, you can request human review of an automated decision and an explanation of it. You can always question a result, contest it, and request human support.
5. Data used by AI
AI features use the minimum necessary information. We do not permit your content to be used to train third-party foundation models.
6. Limitations and accuracy
AI can be wrong or incomplete. When it is uncertain, it will say so and point you to official sources. Always verify requirements, deadlines, and eligibility with the institutions directly.
7. Fairness and bias
We evaluate our AI for fairness across factors including gender, geography, family structure, and immigration status, and we work to avoid discriminatory patterns. We design for diverse students, not an "average" student.
8. Academic integrity
AI essay help is limited to brainstorming, structure, and feedback — not ghost-writing. Using AI to misrepresent your work to colleges may violate their policies. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Reporting concerns
You can report an unhelpful, unfair, or unsafe AI response in the product or at ai-feedback@admito.ai. Your feedback helps us improve.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our AI evolves. Material changes require renewed consent.
