Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to help you on your college journey.

Information we collect

Account information — your email, name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Profile and academic information you provide — things like grades, test scores, interests, intended major, location, and college and scholarship preferences.
Content you create — essays, drafts, notes, and application details.
Usage information — basic technical data (such as device and log data) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

to provide and personalize the Service (college and scholarship matching, essay help, planning);
to improve and secure the Service and prevent abuse;
to communicate with you about your account, and — only with your consent — about other updates;
to process payments for paid plans; and
to meet legal obligations.

AI processing

Some features use AI providers to generate suggestions and drafts. When you use those features, the relevant content is processed to produce a response. We work to limit what is shared to what the feature needs.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Admito (for example, hosting, email/SMS delivery, payment processing, and AI processing), under agreements that protect your data — or when required by law.

Communications and SMS

We send account-related messages by email. Marketing emails and any text-message (SMS) program are opt-in: you choose to receive them and can opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in emails). Message and data rates may apply to SMS.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service or meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

Your choices and rights

access, correct, or update your information in your account settings;
request a copy or deletion of your data;
opt out of marketing communications at any time; and
exercise the rights available to you under applicable privacy laws.

Children's privacy

Admito serves students navigating college admissions, often with family involvement. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we'll address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Admito grows. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
