Minor Safeguarding & Mandatory-Reporting Acknowledgment

By advising a minor (a student aged 13–17) through Admito, you acknowledge and agree. This Acknowledgment is part of the Counselor Professional Terms.
1. Duty of care
You will act at all times in the minor's best interest and with heightened professional care, consistent with child-safety norms and applicable law.
2. Mandatory reporting
You understand you may be a mandatory reporter under the laws of your and/or the minor's jurisdiction. If you reasonably suspect abuse, neglect, self-harm, or that a minor is in danger, you will report to the appropriate authorities as required by law and, where there is imminent danger, contact local emergency services (911) — not only Admito. You will also notify Admito's Trust & Safety team.
3. Supervision mode
The minor's guardian elects a supervision mode when they approve the association:
- Standard — the guardian has visibility into the association.
- Supervised — an adult (guardian or designee) joins any live session.
You will honor the elected mode for the entire association. If the mode is supervised, you will not conduct a live session without the adult present.
4. No unsupervised or off-platform contact
You will not solicit, arrange, or accept contact with a minor outside Admito's relay and session tools, and will not seek the minor's personal contact details. All communication stays on-platform and, where required, supervised.
5. Adult-accompaniment attestation
For supervised associations, you attest that you will confirm an accompanying adult is present before proceeding, and will end the session if they are not.
6. Boundaries & conduct
You will maintain professional boundaries, avoid any private or personal relationship, and never request money, gifts, images, or personal favors from a minor or their family outside the platform's stated services.
7. Consequences
Violation of this Acknowledgment may result in immediate suspension, delisting, reporting to authorities, and referral for legal action. You remain responsible for complying with the mandatory-reporter and child-safety laws that apply to you and to the minor's jurisdiction.
