Ratings & Reviews Policy

Last updated August 19, 2026

This policy governs ratings and reviews of counselors on Admito.

1. Who can rate

Only a student who has (or had) an active advising association with a counselor may rate that counselor — one rating per student–counselor pair, editable while the student's plan is active. This keeps ratings tied to real experiences.

2. What a rating is

A star rating (1–5) and an optional written comment about your advising experience. Ratings must reflect your genuine, first-hand experience.

3. Prohibited content

Reviews may not contain: false statements of fact; content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatening; personal or contact information; private details about third parties or minors; spam; conflicts of interest (such as self-reviews or competitor sabotage); or anything unlawful.

4. Moderation

Admito may screen, label, or remove reviews that violate this policy, and may remove reviews connected to fraud, coordinated manipulation, or safety issues. We aim to moderate for policy violations, not to suppress honest criticism.

5. Right to respond

A counselor may submit a response to a review. Responses are subject to the same content rules.

6. Takedown & disputes

A counselor who believes a review is false or violates this policy may request review at ratings@admito.ai. Admito will assess in good faith. Admito is not the author of user reviews and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for user-generated content.

7. Aggregate display

Admito may display an average rating and rating count. Hidden or removed reviews are excluded from the average.

8. No incentivized or fake reviews

Neither students nor counselors may offer or accept anything of value in exchange for a review, or post reviews that are not based on a genuine association. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
